Sue & Marty Hitching on Monday / Sue's Fear of Marty

In response to my articles on Staging (Pt III still being written), Sandra pointed out:

"Sue and Marty were hitch hiking to town just before the murders in Steve's pickup and Sue acted scared. Could that point to Sue breaking up with Marty, and him not wanting to let go?"

Which is a very valid point. So, I've decided to revisit when Dennis Forcino investigated the ride Steve gave to Marty and Sue...

Around noon on Monday, April 6, Marty and Sue were picked up hitching at the "Keddie Turnout". They were picked up by Steve in #8, who worked as a cook at the lodge. Until being fired, Marty was a co-worker. It's written that they were given a ride to the Safeway shopping center, opposite QHS. During this event, Marty did all the talking, with a silent Sue visibly scared.

We don't know why they had to be together that day, or why they both had to go together into Q. We also don't know why Sue didn't drive. Loon's car was on blocks, but the only thing wrong with Sue's Newport is it may have been out of gas. She did have enough gas to go to Q on Saturday, but she also died with only four quarters to her name. For all we know, her final visit to MXHQ was to save gas. To Q and back to pick up Rick and Justin from tryouts is 3x the distance to MXHQ and back to the ball field.

Dennis Forcino supposedly recorded this incident, as it was included in his fabricated Crime Scene (1st Responder) report. But, as with all the other falsified CS reports, his merged several days/weeks of 'work' into one multi-page report. Every one of these CS reports, except perhaps Shaver's, has been irrefutably proven to be falsified, altered, or (as with Forcino's and his partner, Brubaker's) replaced with laughable, typed and unsigned forgeries.

Let's go over that entire day of DF's report again. The included images show the portions of his 'report' dealing with the day in question, April 15th. That's Wednesday, three days after the murders. The big question is why was he tasked with these minor, mundane jobs when he was head of Search and Rescue and there was supposedly a massive search going on for Tina? Well, as we know, there was no search for Tina, except when DT was following psychics to find her corpse. DT NEVER STAGED A SEARCH FOR A LIVING TINA BECAUSE HE KNEW SHE WAS DEAD.

The first mention of any search for Tina in ANY report was by DT in his own fraudulent CS report. Dated 4-14 (Tuesday), the sum of all comments on the entirety of the very first supposed search for Tina by LE is:

"1105 Hours-
I requested 6 S&R members search the Keddie area for missing Tina."

This conclusively proves there was NO SEARCH FOR TINA ON SUNDAY; In fact, according to Sheriff Thomas' own report, the search he claims to have requested for Tina occurred solely on Wednesday. That means the anecdotes and rumors of a massive house-to-house search of Keddie on Sunday that we've heard about for years are BULLSHIT. After all, we've known FOREVER there was no searching of vehicles entering or leaving Keddie, and only a half-assed listing of license plates taken down far too late in the day to be meaningful.

We also know there were only four cops on-scene between discovery (8 AM-ish) and when BruNo, then DT, arrived between 11-11:30. After that, Steve Wright and Crimely arrived. We know others from FBI arrived, but that was NOT on Sunday. So, according to all reports, the only cops in Keddie the day of the murders were:

Klement
Shaver
Stoy/Shanks
Brubaker/Forcino
DT
Wright
Crim/Bradley.

There was NO SEARCH FOR TINA ON SUNDAY (or ANY OTHER DAY). The few cops who'd been in Keddie that day had all split by 4 PM, leaving 28 to be locked and 'guarded' by the Plumas animal control officer (dog catcher).

To press this point, all other articles claiming massive searches for Tina- some even supposedly called off and re-started due to rain- are LIES. After all, it never rained one drop that week. As it happens, many of these lies can be traced back to the same liar: Doug Thomas. He told different reporters different lies about what was going on.

Recall the reporter from San Fran who interviewed Wade Meeks on Sunday. Despite telling the cops a completely separate bunch of lies about his activities on Sunday, Wade stupidly approached that reporter in Keddie on Sunday, proving he'd been there much of the day. Another great thing about the article is the author, who'd been there interviewing neighbors and such, saw little sign of police activity outside of 28 itself, and certainly no supposedly massive search for Tina only pigs claim took place.

The 'Sunday Search' lie also doesn't take into account that LE didn't realize Tina was missing until hours after they'd been on-scene. Again, no mention of any search for Tina by any member of LE until the 14th, when DT supposedly requested a search begin.

DT's second mention of this fictitious S&R effort comes the afternoon of the 15th, and is purely in passing: "During the day S&R used a grid pattern to search a 1 mile radius of Keddie and the Jeep possee [sic] searched a 5 mile radius."

This is an impossible claim, and another very stupid lie by an incredibly dimwitted douchebag, DT. It's very rugged terrain, making a grid pattern impossible to begin with. 60 men on foot couldn't do that, yet DT wants us to believe 6 men searched a 2 mile diameter circle on foot, and a ten mile diameter in jeeps?

What a fucktard our DT was!

He's claiming 3 men in Jeeps searched beyond Twain to the west, well past Dee's dump at Indian Falls to the north, past the peak of Mt Hough to the east, and almost to Quincy in the south? 3 square miles searched on foot, 78.5 square miles by Jeep?! In one afternoon? Preposterous! Absurd! Insane! BULLSHIT!! Ten men couldn't properly search a single square mile of barren, flat grassland in ten days!

Unfortunately, all the above about the non-existent Search For Tina is necessary background in order to understand how Dennis Forcino's supposed activities on Wednesday were falsified by the pigs behind this coverup. The first entry in Dennis' report for Wednesday regards how he was "assigned" to check out a trailer on the Keddie Flats. A neighbor said a door isn't secured at a trailer used as a vacation home by a friend. THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF HIS INITIAL CALL TO KEDDIE: Check out a trailer on Keddie Flats where a neighbor sees, or suspects, a door is open.

To iterate, this is when the head of S&R, DENNIS FORCINO, SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONDUCTING ANY SEARCH FOR TINA. He was instead tasked with checking out the security of an empty cabin on the flats. The report doesn't specify if the door was wide open (ajar), as Jamie said the back door of 28 was on Sunday morning. But why else would the neighbor notice anything wrong, much less call for cops to investigate?!

We're to believe this woman was so concerned as to call for a cop to investigate, but then wanted to talk it back, as if there were no need for a cop to be wasting their time?

"even though she told me that members of Search and Rescue had done so on Sunday 4-12-81".

That lie was added to this report specifically to back the Keddie Koverup lie about a search for Tina on Sunday. No surprises here: Throw a dart at any page of these fabricated reports and you're bound to hit an incontrovertible lie.

Actual wording:

"Regarding an open door at a trailer owned by a friend asa summer place.I contacted _______and checked the trailer even though she told me that member of Search and Rescue had done so on4-12-81. I found nothing even slightly suspicious at the trailer. It appears that when the fathers son was at the trailer the last time he forgot to lock the door. I next contacted a ___________ who said she had heard that the cook at Keddie had picked up...."

AT LAST we can Move On to the actual hitch-hiking incident:

Right off the bat, what's interesting is the woman who brought the hitching incident to PCSO's attention is the same woman who reported Sue coming to her home Sat evening, asking her kid to sleep over at 28 that night. Both reports are verified as truthful. Even when a neighbor supposedly contradicted Gail by claiming she'd been in Reno with Gail that night, it was found untrue. In fact, the woman in question, Kathy Bosco, was found to have multiple accounts for her whereabouts on Saturday. She also claimed to be entertaining at home that evening, while Art Jawad's the guy whose alibi mentioned skulking around the Bosco home to see if Kathy's lights were on.

Coincidentally, both incidents reported by Gail revolve around the only two times we know of anyone at 28 showing fear of anyone, and in both instances indicates Sue was afraid of her killers, specifically Marty. And Gail's report was backed up by her son who, years later, was a member of my forum and remembered the incident of Sue asking him to sleep over. He only came forward when he recognized the name whited-out in the supporting document I'd posted was his mom.

In the DF CS report, Gail said she'd heard Steve, Marty's former co-worker at the lodge kitchen, had picked up "Glena Susan Sharp and a man" and Sue "was said to be very scared of the man". Steve confirmed this. In all instances, Glena Sue Sharp's ID is never in question- it was certainly Sue with this mysterious man. So we're to believe Steve knew murder victim Sue, yet couldn't recognize his neighbor and former coworker, Marty Smartt.

At the very moment Dennis was supposedly at Steve's (#8), Marty was supposedly seen walking south down the main road past the lodge. THAT'S THE VERY SAME MYSTERIOUS GUY STEVE GAVE THE RIDE TO, with Sue sitting on this guy's lap! Why, it's Marty Smartt, who Steve supposedly still can't recognize, despite working alongside him at the restaurant. Boy, Steve sure was an idiot... or the idiot was the pig who forged this document!

According to the report, Dennis "later found out" the man walking by was Marty, just as he supposedly had "since been advised" that the woman everyone knew to be Sue was actually Loon. Who 'advised him', in either example?!

For instance, did Dennis have a Polaroid handy and snap a shot, and have someone later ID it? In other words, how the FUCK can either he or Steve possibly have Marty ID'd by this mysterious third party without a photo? HOW THE FUCK could someone "later" identify the person they saw walking by as Martin Ray Smartt?

Likewise, who could possibly "advise" Dennis that Steve and Gail, who clearly both knew Sue, had mistaken her for Loon, who was taller, massive compared to slight Sue, and had a completely different hairdo and hair color?

And WHY THE FUCK would Dennis override the eyewitness account of Steve, who knew Sue AND Marty, for the word of an UNNAMED THIRD PARTY? That entire part of this account proves it's a fraud. One of several reasons we can see where pigs chose to burn several real reports in favor of this fictionalized, unsigned rubbish.

As I said, the description even fits Sue more than Loon, who was taller, heavier than Sue, and was a brunette with a bit of a reddish tinge which she wore much longer than 'just past the shoulders'.

The rest of the report for that day trails off in Keddie shortly thereafter, where Dennis took down yet another account of the lies generated by Don Rumsey. He's the complete asshole who told many variations of giving John and/or Dana motorcycle rides in Q, which grew into Don giving them the 'last ride' to 28. In actuality, Don was another blowjob bitch inserting himself into the scenario, because he never encountered J/D that day.

Extracting the gist of what happened from this dodgy report, and ignoring the obvious lies about all the reversing identities of those in the love triangle, Marty and Sue caught a ride from Steve around noon on Monday, 6 April. This account was taken down late Wednesday AM, when Forcino should have been searching for Tina as head of Plumas S&R.

Sue said nothing throughout the entire event, which is something you couldn't get Loon to do even with a gun pointed at her cock. Marty, however, said he was going to trade Sue in on a younger model. Twice. That's something he would NEVER have said about Loon, particularly after she'd just taken him back from their month-long estrangement, with Marty kicked out and licking his wounds (and Bo's ass crack) in Reno.

We also know this report is a forgery, because DT's own report has him asking Loon about Marty hitching into town that Monday, with Loon simply saying DT'd have to ask Marty 'cuz da bitch don't know shit bout dat'.

So, NO WAY this was Marilyn, and NO WAY was this anyone but Sue and Marty. Besides, had this been a real report from Dennis, he'd have gotten more from Steve. No way Marty or Loon, based on the lie that it was her instead of Sue, could have kept their yackety traps shut. No fucking way was Loon ever afraid of Marty: She'd bitch-slap that cunt into submission with just one glare-stare! So what did Steve say during the trip? What else did Marty and Loon/Sue say?

If this were a real Forcino report, all this... AND MORE... would have been explained.

Exactly why did Sue and Marty need to be together in Q, near or at the Safeway center? Why couldn't they use Sue's car? Why was Marty with Sue at all, after Loon had just tricked Marty into coming back from Reno to kill Sue? Most importantly, why was Marty so angry with Sue that she was visibly afraid of him?

We know Forcino found out from Steve, Marty's former co-worker at the lodge, that he'd given Marty and Sue a ride to the Safeway center the Monday prior to the murders. We know pigs destroyed Forcino's actual reports and replaced them with typed, unsigned falsifications. We know this hitching incident was completely fictionalized to state it was Marty and Loon, as if it was another lame episode of Three's Company: 'All a Big Misunderstanding!' It wasn't Sue and her killer, it was Jack Tripper and Chrissy rehearsing their parts for an upcoming play!

Except the pigs were so lazy in their coverup, they again screwed the pooch by letting stand a contradictory report where DT directly asked Loon if Marty and Sue hitched a ride to Q that Monday. Her reply, "You'd have to ask Marty", tells us that she sure as shit wasn't the one with Marty that day, and that pigs f-ing well knew DF's original report was dead-on: Marty and Sue were hitching from K to Safeway center, Sue very scared/nervous of Marty.

That doesn't put us any closer to knowing why they were together, much less hitching, or why Sue was scared that day.

We don't know what Dennis knew, because this particular report, like most of his, were falsified by the Regime. That's why the report has none of the detail one would expect, particularly from Forcino.

We've no indication of exactly what the cops OR pigs knew at that time of the state of Marty's affair with Sue. We know, as Marty's defacto 'marriage counselor' (to use DT's own words) that DT probably knew damned well about the love triangle. After all, we can only deduce what inside info DT had to have immediately sussed Marty (and bo), if not Loon, were behind the murders the very moment he heard of them Sunday morn.

The info he had must have been incredibly compelling, and DAMNING to his crooked regime, for DT to immediately go into CYA Mode. Crooked DOJ were immediately deployed by Sacto chopper to 'clean' the scene and 'steer' the investigation, but it was a full 3.5 hours before DT bothered to wander out to his former home, now a crime scene. What else was he doing in that time to CYA?!

Was DT telling his most trusted pigs what was really going on? When shitlickers like Stoy, child-raping Shanks, Wright, and DeCrona are all you have on your side, you'd be an idiot to take them into your confidence. But, as we know, DT and all of them were complete fucking idiots. We also know DT had a bizarre fascination / devotion to the child rapist, as his personal collection of files shows. And none of them have wavered from their 1981 lies, other than to finally put out a Missing Persons report and flier for Tina (*on Sheriff Kenneth Shanks letterhead!) immediately after DT "retired", as well as finally having the FBI and Navy look into Jim Sharp,

We have no idea what that Safeway ride means, much less why in particular she was scared. We do know Loon's red Pinto was up on blocks, but there was nothing wrong with Sue's Newport, unless she was out of gas. Sue died six days later with 4 quarters to her name, but she also drove to Q for the last time on Saturday morning. As I mentioned before, perhaps her final visit to her killers' EQ HQ that morning was a way to save gas: it's 1/3 the distance to MXHQ and the ball field than the ball field and 28, and Rick (and Justin*) had to be picked up from tryouts.

[[*Q: Why does EVERYONE, in LE reports, step around the fact Sue had to have been the one to bring Rick AND Justin back to Keddie, just as she'd dropped them off at tryouts?

A: Probably because it would have meant putting on paper the fact Justin had stayed over at 28 Friday night, too, and that fact would have been in 20 different reports, opening huge cans of worms and bringing 26 directly into the Kill Zone. It would also have indicated the killers had no idea Justin was at 28, which completely fucked up the game plan. As it stands, the fact Justin was there Fri night only shows up in a couple buried documents.]]

With what we do know about all the turmoil coming to a head in February, and Sue basically sealing her fate by putting That Kid up for adoption, it certainly informs us about what that Safeway ride may have portended. Also, her evident fear on Monday further informs us about another overlooked event on Saturday: Sue, upon learning Justin was spending another night, went around to try to recruit children she didn't know to attend the sleepover at 28.

Old-timers may recall all the talk that Shelie was going to have a HUGE sleepover at 28 on Saturday night. Turns out that was BS invented by Shelie as a ruse: "See, I'm not involved! I was gonna have a sleepover party that night! Thank god it fell thru, or we'd all be dead!" All BS. In fact, the only person she ever asked was Hank Thompson's young sister, Alice, but even that was a ruse: Sheila knew the answer would be NO, because her mom had emphatically refused days prior due to Sue's rep as a shitshow mom. Sheila knew Alice would be turned down again, so it was great for her alibi just to ask again! Talk about cold-blooded premeditation!... Now I wonder if it was already known Justin was staying over Sat night, too...?

Some may recall others saying the reason Tina was sent home was to ease Sheila's pain at having her 'Big Sleepover Party' implode, in part due to ostracism over being a 14 yo mommy. All of that is BULLSHIT, because Alice proves the entire idea was a ruse to bolster one killer's alibi. Tina is dead because Sheila broke ranks and scarpered from 28, hiding out at 27 after kicking Tina's ass back to be killed, too. Win-win for Sheila, except her fingerprints are all over these facts and lies. Not just on the light bulb, bitch!

In the Real World, Saturday was shaping up to be a weird night. We have no idea when it was decided that Justin would stay that second night, but the timing of Sue's search for sleepover victims was tellingly late- Gail, in fact, found it particularly odd to be interrupted at suppertime by this neighbor she barely knew.

Sat was quiet in Keddie. There'd been a day-long exodus of residents straggling out for Easter break. That, in fact, is a huge part of why the killers chose this night. Even Jack expected it to be slow, which is why he booked the DJ weeks in advance, instead of paying more for another live band.

Putting the two events together, we see a continuing and building fear of the Smartts by Sue. Sue's fears were real, but she stupidly never acted properly on them. One thing about asking kids over, it further confirms the fact Sue had no damned clue John was going to be home that night, much less bringing Dana along. If she'd known, she'd logically have asked them to sleep upstairs, armed, and to LOCK THE FUCKING DOORS.

When considering the strength of her fear, normal, rational thinking doesn't cut it. Sue was not normal OR rational. She was a self-involved LOSER and asshole.

If she was afraid of Justin being there on Sat, why not Fri? Had something else happened to make her fear grow as Saturday progressed? We'll never know, since pigs intentionally never timelined any of the killers' whereabouts, not even Marty's or Bo's. We do know pigs knew Justin stayed at 28 on Fri, and spent all day with them- including being taken back and forth by Sue to tryouts- but the pigs had to bury that. As with every other aspect of the case, we're left to our own devices because the cops willfully buried the truth.

On one hand, Sue went around Keddie asking kids she didn't know to stay at 28. On the other hand, when that plan failed, she seemed nonplussed and went back to being a worthless lump on the couch, watching tv. It also speaks to the fact she really didn't give a shit about anyone but herself. No matter how you cut it, she was trying to use children as a human shield.

Sue's fear alone doesn't mean a helluva lot when trying to understand it. She simply wasn't normal, so 'normal' anything rarely applies. Marty was enormously jealous of Sue, but that's how he was with Loon. I'd imagine, when you know you're subhuman scum, you must be jealous of anything too dumb to run away in revulsion.

His monotonous onslaught of crudely-attempted 'love notes' and confessions tells us Marty was one mental, moronic mope. It's obvious from his words that Loon had duped him into a deal to take him back if Sue was 'gone for good', but the dipshit never got that he'd been made a patsy. His screaming at Wade in lockup, just before DT First Blooded him to the Greyhound stop, tells us he'd finally pegged Wade was pegging his wife, but not that these same co-conspirators were trying to blame everything on him (and bo, and a little bit Dee by that point).

We've just these two incidents where anyone from 28 displayed fear of anyone at 26, MXHQ, etc. Of course, we can trust very few LE reports because of rampant doctoring, be we still KNOW Shelie lied about EVERYTHING (even by putting Marty, Bo, and Loon on all the Vx 'best friends' list). We know much of Rick's interview was erased to eradicate what truths he told, but we also know he apparently lied about several events from Sat/Sun: the impossible call from Mama at 9 PM saying J/D were 'on the way', not waking for the murders, not moving Sue's corpse, etc.

It's pretty damned clear that before Klement's arrival, Shelie had demanded/convinced Rick and Greg repeat her talking points. Justin told many of these same lies. Even Zo and Jamie were in on some of it, with EVERYONE repeating the lie that they woke the boys from bed and Jamie pulled them out thru the window. The mere height of that window from the sloped gound mocks that lie, as well as Jamie changing his story about NOT going through the ajar upstairs back door. In reality, I believe he found the boys still hiding in the closet, and LOWERED THEM OUT THAT WINDOW FROM INSIDE 28.

We know why Zo and Jamie lied, why Justin lied, and certainly why Sheila lie. Rick's lies, and his continued silence, aren't as baffling as they are sad. But we also have justifiably grave doubts that any claim on Pig paper as coming from Rick's mouth bears any resemblance to fact.

When trying to unpack all this in order to find the source of Sue's Monday and Saturday "Marty Fears", the crux must lie somewhere in the makeup and breakdown of that love triangle. It had been going on since shortly after they met, whether at MXHQ in Q or at FRC. Cruz' statement tells us the affair had been going on a good while before they all had classes together. The gifted pink pant suit's sleek skimpiness tells us they'd been together through the warmer summer months of 1980. [[The fact pigs never once asked if the PPS was anyone's but Tina's tells us they were fully aware of the affair.]]

It little matters, for the sake of this discussion, when the triangle began. So, let's break down the breakdown.

Early Feb, Sue's in OR for the birth and to give the result up for adoption. We have no proof, but attitudes from MXHQ lead me to believe they'd been making it clear they believed Richard was the sperm donor. That, of course, gives us cause to believe they'd discussed with Sue that they wanted the baby, Mama's first grandkid. At least, they wanted to be involved.

Sue came back without the baby. Within eight weeks, she and three others were slaughtered.

At the same time, we've been able to establish that this is also when 26 imploded. After months with her head seemingly in the sand, Loon is suddenly made aware of the affair. Since this was a widely-known secret at the Back Door, and likewise obvious enough on campus for Cruz to know, the timing of the Marty-Loon breakup is all the more suspicious as it syncs up with MXHQ turmoil over Sue's unilateral decision to ditch the kid.

So, at the very time Shelie comes to finally live at 28, sans baby, Loon kicks Marty to the curb and he ends up living with Bo in Reno. Records show he was nothing more than an outpatient at the VA and it's outside clinic, and we know Bo's records also show he was never a patient at that VA, so the lies about them meeting for the first time while bouncing alongside each other in the VA loony bin are only that. In fact, we now know what we'd long suspected: Marty and Bo (and LOON) had known each other for years*.

[[*In fact, recent leads given me, and subsequent research, indicate the Meeks/Smartts knew each other decades before being near-neighbors in Phoenix, AZ. Too bad I don't have internet at home, or I'd have had the time to reach the bottom of that well months ago!]]

As records back up the vague timeline provided by Marty's Reno therapist, we know Marty (with old buddy bo) moved back to 26 in mid-March. So, a month after he's kicked out, Loon has taken him back- based on a lethal agreement. A month later, Marty holds up his end of the deal, but Loon doesn't. Instead, she moves into MXHQ, with Sheila there almost every spare minute, so all can switch modes from Loonibi to Tunabi.

All three members of this Love Triangle were abnormal human beings, which means their conduct surrounding the affair would also have been very unlike typical actions/reactions. Case in point: Loon took Marty back on the false proviso that they eliminate Sue from the equation by murdering her. But what were Sue's feelings / actions?

So far, we know Marty was gone early/mid Feb. Perfect indicator that the affair had been 'discovered', and Sue had moved on. She was "seeing" other men, and case files make clear Dareyl was not the first "date" neighbors (or even Jamie!) had set her up with. Shelie, of course, says none of this ever happened, cuz mommy was always home taking care of her and ALL the neighborhood children! [QUOTE from Sheila in one article: "It was probably [Sue's] kindness that got her killed..."!!!]

So, just days before the murders, we have Marty and Sue again together. All the questions are still as valid. WHY?! Why did they have to be in Q together that Monday afternoon? Lots of stores besides Safeway nearby. The CHP office was right there, and the old MXHQ was right there, but they'd already relocated to 1st and Main in EQ. The school was right across the street.

In fact, QHS makes the most sense, as that's the only visible common denominator: 26 and 28 all had kids attending, as pals/classmates. However, if that were the reason, we'd expect it to be excised from all records, as was virtually every other link between killers and victims. As was this very encounter between Marty and his scared future victim.

What we're left with is a pretty empty bag. All indications are that these untypical mental cases each acted rather predictably between the breakdown and the murders, with the exception of the murders. It appears Sue wasn't too bothered by Marty's disappearance, or his return, until that odd Monday. She'd gone back to what she always did: whatever she pleased, including other men.

The unusual shit came from 26. Marty clearly wanted Loon back. His Love Confession letters show that. So why the fuck, after being taken back by Loon, would he risk being seen with Sue days before the planned murders. And not just by Loon, but by EVERYONE. I think a clue lies in what Marty said about trading her for a younger model. Given the circumstance, what does it imply?

We know Steve and Marty had been coworkers. We know the affair was an open secret, particularly around the lodge. We know Marty would have been boasting about his 'tail on the side' when it was actually still going on.
